User Interfaces - mX machines Important file server down

Dear all,

one of our main files servers is off-line at the moment. Therefore the M machines are not accessible. We are trying to get all running again asap.

Kind regards, the T2B admin team

  • The storage server for /user and websites is back online. You should be able to connect to m1, m4, m5 (check updates in a couple hours as maintenance on the other machines is starting now)

User Interfaces - mX machines maintenance on the mX machines

    Dear Users,

In order to do a maintenance on the mX machines, we will proceed in a rolling shutdown:

    • On Tuesday 27/06 (tomorrow) between 11AM and 5PM, the following will be unavailable: m1, m4, m5
    • On Wednesday 28/06 between 11AM and 5PM, the following will be unavailable: m2, m3, m6, m7

Machines will be powered off at exactly 11AM, so make sure all your work is saved and you have disconnected. Please do not try to connect to them before we give you the green light, even if they "seem" available. All updates will be provided on status.iihe.ac.be, so either register to it or make sure you consult the front-page for up-to-date information on the situation.

  • All mX machines are now operational and accessible again. Please report it you encounter any issues.

  • m1, m4 & m5 are now operational again. Tomorrow m2,m3 & m6,m7 will be unavailable starting 11AM.

Prefer using direct access to connect to machines rather than mshort/mlong tomorrow.
