Problems with user disks Tuesday 11th April 2023 10:26:59


Dear all,

due to a problem with the file server that provides the /user on T2B, we will need to reboot this machine to get more diagnostics.

This intervention is planned around 1:30. Until then, you can keep working, but avoid doing large copies (or hadd) to the /user disk as this will freeze up the machine you are working on. For now, do all large copies towards the /scratch. Later today the final copy can then be done.

While the server is rebooting, you will no longer have access to your files. Reboot should take ~20 minutes. We will notify once the server is operational again.
